In 1977, the Hodgson family starts to encounter bizarre events in their home in the London suburb of Enfield after Janet, the second-most established of four kids, plays with an ouija board she made with her companion Camilla. Janet begins to sleepwalk and chats in her fantasies with a substance as a furious older man who sits in the family's rocker, demanding the house is his. In the long run, all the Hodgson kin and their mom Peggy witness paranormal occasions, startling them into looking for shelter with their neighbors.
